CLEANFLIGHT FIRMWARE FLIP32 DELUX SERIAL
Since F4 CPU is much more powerful than F1, limitation of 19200bps on Software Serial UARTs is no longer actual. Pads are quite small, but with basic soldering skills and decent soldering iron there should be no problems to solder thin cables to them. Together with INAV 1.5, SoftSerial will be available on Airbot F4 / Flip32 F4 target on two small pads located near UART3 connector. Hardware manufacturers usually put only one external inverter for S.Bus and that's allīecause of that, Software Serial feature is coming back to F4 boards. Naze 32 Acro - this version adds a BMP280 barometer to the board which only increases the price by £1-2. Ideal for experianced FPV pilots who want a cheap but capable flight controller. However the ‘stable’ version of clean flight doesn't support the latest NAZE rev6 board. Naze 32 6 DOF - this is the cheapest level naze 32 flight controller and does not include a magnetometer sensor or a barometer. May be a dumb question but I don't see any link or sth. I’ve been flying a ZMR 250 with Cleanflight and recently bought a genuine NAZE as a replacement for my completely crap Flip32. Just installed a Flip32+ on my quad and willing to use my I2C Nav Board GPS also on cleanflight. STM32F4 does not have internal hardware inverters. I've just started with the cleanflight stuff however I have a bunch of Multiwii experience.

Most F4 flight controllers have only 2 to 3 hardware UARTs available and usually one of them is shared with I2C (Revolution, Airbot F4).Unfortunately, live had it's own point of view on that topic: Why it should be? STM32F4 has enough hardware UARTs to satisfy everyones needs. Type default in the CLI to reset all settings/feature back (be sure to save what you need before this). If you change the PID controller the PID values are not changed. When STM32F4 based flight controllers made its way to the world of MultiWii derivatives (Cleanflight and whole family), all I think all developers assumed that SoftwareSerial feature will not be needed on those boards. A Profile can be selected with a Stick Command while disARMed which is an easy way to try other settings or have settings for 3S and 4S.
